User Interface Designer

Boston and Columbus Studios

Do you want to design, code, and build beautiful, amazing services and products that ship? We’re looking for a passionate and tech-obsessed designer that wants to work in a small studio with people who will stretch their mind and skills.

You will:

  • envision amazing software services for all platforms
  • design pixel-perfect mockups and create fully interactive, working
    prototypes
  • get your hands dirty in HTML, CSS, javascript, and similar tools
  • design people into situations, not out of them
  • produce finished shipping designs, finalizing layout, color, typography, images, and icons
  • raise the design IQ of the studio and
  • ultimately become a fantastic software designer.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in design or engineering (or commensurate experience)
  • A multi-disciplinary and system engineering approach to design
  • A thorough understanding of interface design principles
  • An understanding of fundamental engineering principles
  • An online portfolio of work exhibiting success designing beautiful products that have actually shipped

User Interface Engineer

Do you want to build beautiful, amazing services and products that ship? We need a user interface engineer who can lead us and our customers in creating surprising and elegant applications.

You will:

  • lead UI engineering efforts on rapid prototypes to large-scale applications
  • design and create fully interactive, working prototypes
  • create clean, fabulous code
  • use and give back to open source-based solutions
  • raise the technical IQ of the studio and
  • ultimately become a great UI engineer.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in engineering applications
  • Degree in design or engineering (or commensurate experience)
